Margaret Mitchell '90

Head of Middle School
Margaret has a Bachelor's in English Literature from Princeton University and a Master's in English Literature from Boston University. She loves working with middle school students and teachers for many reasons; every day is interesting and challenging. Middle schoolers are amazing, and Margaret enjoys believing in them and helping them become their fullest and best selves. As an alumna of St. Anne's, she has known the school for a long time and finds joy in continuing the work of the many educators before her. St. Anne's feels like a second home, and she values the school's guiding principles. Her favorite children's book is Goodnight, Moon by Margaret Wise Brown. Margaret loves spending time with her family and being outdoors in nature, whether hiking, camping, or skiing—any day outside is a good day!
