Jessica is grateful that her journey led her to St. Anne’s, where she feels she was meant to be. She originally earned her art degree at Colorado State University and used it in various roles before managing the digital side of a company running portrait studios in California. While photographing families and children, she realized her true passion was in teaching, leading her to return to school for a teaching credential—a dream she had long considered.
With years of experience as a reading and classroom teacher, Jessica was drawn to St. Anne’s by its welcoming community, beautiful campus, and rich history. She loves being part of a place where she can teach and witness young creatives experimenting with and absorbing the gifts of art.
One of Jessica’s unique talents is her ability to put her dog, Gato, to sleep in under a minute simply by rubbing her paws, though she humorously suspects Gato might be narcoleptic.
