Karianne, a Colorado native, attended the University of Colorado Boulder, where she earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Integrative Biology through a 5-year concurrent program. Her focus was on how exercise impacts the immune system. She loves the variety in teaching and the thrill of students experiencing breakthroughs in scientific understanding.
