Balsam attended CU Denver, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology and Ethnic Studies. She loves her job for the opportunity it provides to teach younger children and watch them grow over the years. She chose St. Anne's because of the wonderful families in the community. Her favorite children's book is The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. In her free time, Balsam enjoys reading and hiking.
